not as fast as they claim it is mine only does 11 mile an hour according to the speedometer and sometimes it hesitates on takeoff but overall it's a great little mobility scooter 3 miles an hour in first gear 7 miles an hour in 2nd gear at tops out at 11 miles an hour in 3rd gear. And the scooter died after 2 miles of running the batteries were completely drained and would not charge I called technical support and they refused to help me wanted me to pay a $200 service fee to come out and look at it. I ended up removing the trunk insert to access The Battery area and found that my ground wire and positive wire were shorted out between the circuit breaker and frame causing the circuit breaker to short out and the battery shorted out also I ended up buying a new breaker switch on Amazon and new batteries on my own because tech support refused to help me hopefully when these parts come in they take care of my problem I installed the new circuit breaker and batteries on September 8 2021 and that did not solve the problem the dead short goes completely into the system the motor is shorted out..Spinlife informed me that they are going to try getting the scooter replaced thru E wheels, I will update later

Update: I would like to let everyone know that spinlife and eWheels is coming together to fix all these problems on my scooter at no cost to me

Update: I was notified on September 29th by eWheels that according to the technician it would cost too much to repair the original mobility scooter so they would immediately be shipping me out a new one and arrange to have the old one picked up.

Update: well the replacement Mobility Scooter arrived today however I had to refuse shipment dur to damage so the Dilemma goes on

I ordered for my 81yr old dad. He has alot of health issues, including bad knees. This scooter would help him get around the yard or ride down to get the mail. He was excited abt it, until they delivered it. I couldn’t get the help needed to get the scooter off the pallet for a few days. I guess the longer it was there for him to look at and to read the instruction manual the worried abt it he got. So when I did get there, he had changed his mind and told me to send it back. That was upsetting to me because he wouldn’t even give it a try. I still think it would’ve worked out for him if he would’ve just tried it but once his mind was made up, there was no changing it. It worried him for some reason. I sent a message through Amazon to Spinlife. They emailed me almost immediately with instructions. The people at Spinlife was great! They was so understanding. I worried I was going to hav to figure out how to get freight to come pick it up. They made the arrangements and they were there by the end of the week to get! I was so thankful. Even though we wasnt able to try it out, it’s still a very nice sturdy looking scooter. I just hated it wasn’t meant for us! Yes, we had to eat the cost of the return but that’s just how it is. 🙂

This is fine for street travel. Amusement parks, stores, malls, etc, not so much. Hard to stop on a dime if someone walks in front of u, can't make sharp turns because of the wide turn radius, constantly changing gears because 1st won't go uphill. And 3rd is too fast for crowds. This one IS pretty but my old scooter is much easier to use.

Yes, this scooter was just what this 92 year old wanted -- suspension & great soft wheels along with the body style and size. Being an old motorcycle and scooter rider, I appreciated the motorcycle style brake and throttle controls but recognize they could stand some improvement in ease and efficiency of operation. This is my third mobility scooter I have owned (1st two by Pride then this EWheel) felt Pride did a great job and now feel EWheel is right up there with them.
Kind of tough getting through to service but they were very helpful when I did. A little trouble with controls but it was my not understanding how to make it work and they zeroed right in on it. It was so simple I had a red face over not figuring it out for my self. I would think a section in the user's manual on the operation of the electronics could certainly be a good thing -- especially about the alarms, etc.
Overall I thing it is a great little ride with my 12 miles spent on it. I just hope it holds up to my expectations.

This scooter has allowed me a new freedom! I am unable to walk as my distance at all, which leaves me limited in a very amenable community with lots of resources for seniors. This scooter has enabled me to get everywhere I want and need to go. The only inconvenience is the wide turning radius in the grocery store! Buy it! You will love it!
