We have a nearly new Go Chair, by Pride Industries. Our father used it for only about three months before we lost him in early August. It was purchased new and we never had any issues with it. It plugs in and charges very easily. It worked great for him and it's in great shape. It handled extremely well. It's considered a lightweight power wheelchair as it can be disassembled very easily. We can't speak to that fact as my father used it around the house only but it was a godsend to him in his last days.

It even has a very good speed to it as well as a speed control. My father used to like to roll around the block and we would have to ask him to slow down in order to keep up with him!

The steering is controlled by what is essentially a joystick and has the speed control right under it, all accessible from the right hand. As it disassembled easily, it could switch to a left-hand control if need be.
