- Price reduced to $894.99 OBO for a lightly used Hoveround. Well-off, spry 94 yr. old friend tried to stay mobile while she lived - she paid $7800 for this motorized wheelchair. Since her death the w/c has not been used. So, it needs battery replaced. Batteries on devices not used do tend to die more quickly. But batteries for this chair should last about six years. You can find the battery on amazon.com for under $130.
The motorized w/c has a manual (toggle switch) "unlock" ability to disengage the brakes for ease of movement - so you can easily, roll it manually when it's powered down.
The back support for this w/c can fold down, and also, the armrests can be removed to make it fit more easily, in the trunk of a mid-sized car.
The built-in electronic 'horn' is not as too useful. So, this Hoveround sale includes the bicycle horn that my late friend used to get attention. 🙂
I'm looking to, as quickly as possible, sell this Hoveround wheelchair, which (inconveniently, as you can see from the photos) is taking up space in my kitchen. Thanks for looking!
